OK, did I run everyone off? I put off joining and posting over here because I was so busy...now that I finally got time..everybody left. Hope it wasn't me!! This is absolutely the most important part of staying clean. It's the hours after the withdrawals. Hope everyone's doing well...

Hi Denise, I am a pharmaceutical dope fiend, meaning that I got hooked on prescription pain killers after a back injury. It lasted for about 5 years before I hit bottom and got into rehab. Now, I'm going to about 2-3 meetings a week, seeing a therapist, and going to an aftercare group therapy once a week. It's going well for me. Congrats on your 9+ months..you're doing great!! Oh yeah, I'm in the Southeastern US.

Thanks,your birthday's just after mine I'm the 24th, What was your DOC,Mine was alcohol and codeine-I'd been an alcoholic for 33 yrs and addicted to codeine for 20 yrs.I stopped both C/T at the same time.How did you stop.It's good to talk to someone, where do you live?I live in Queensland, Australia.

Hi Denise...I'm at around 300 or so. My Birthday is April 29th and it'll be one year then. Congrats on your 179 days.!!!

              I'm still here and checking posts when I can,and I agree this is the most important part of staying clean,How many days are you?I'm 179 days today and still taking it one day at a time.If I know someone is on here talking I'll check in more often,good to see a new post on here.
