why do they want to feed her drugs

is there any one person on this site that can tell a positive story of hope courage and wisdom that stemmed from the methadone treatment center.  if you had to do over, would you have still chose the clinic?  are you clean now? if so how did you do it

I totally agree 100% it has turned my life around I have now been clean for 10 months going on 11 and though that may not seem long before 2 days was a long time, it saved my life, if done correctly and suppervised by a doctor as well as weekly or bi-weely whatever u need it is 100% affective but you have to have the desire to succed you wont unless u r ready not because someone else wants you 2 it took me 7 years and 2 failed marriages to get sober. so keep it up.

hello...I hope this is not a discouragment but i dont think I would have done the same thing by getting on methadone. I am finally almost off after a year but It really makes me miserable and it has weakened my body. I now have several stomache ulcers, g.e.r.d, and an intestinal deficiancey.  If I could do it over, I would have just tried to detox from the dope. But ya know, who's to say what kind of path God has us on.... This may have been the path I was supposed to take and I am learning from it. Im not going to get into detail but I know so many people who have been on it for years and they are miserable and stuck... The longer you stay on, the harder it is to get off. I hit the year mark and now that I can see clearly, I know what I have to do. Good luck and God bless. Find people in your area who believe in changing their lives for the better and stick with them!

absolutely . it has changed my life. i tried suboxone for 8 months and was miserable.
