what percentile is your baby in?

Hey ladies,

so Brielle had her 6 months shots today, yes a little late! I was surprised to learn she was only in the 25th percentile for height, she is 27 1/4 inches long. Her weight was 52nd percentile @ 19 lbs 2oz and her head was 75th percentile @ 44.7.

How is everyone else doing on the scale?

Hey, how do you think I feel with Reece and his chunkiness?  I get it all the time about what a big boy Reece is and people joking about me "starving" him, etc.  I don't let it bother me.  He's happy and healthy and that makes me happy.

VENT- so today in chapters (the book store in canada)  I had Brielle in the stroller and this lady and her daughter , who was walking came up to me and the mom asked how old Brielle was, i said just about 11 months, she said "wow she is huge for 11 months" that really really annoyed me!! i was like she is only in the 50th percentile and walked away..her dd was small i thought..for walking. but i thought mmm she probably just learned to walk young.
i know i shouldnt let it bother me but it did! especially since she isnt big, shes PERFECT. Lol.

Addy has just stayed in or around the 50th. She was 19 pounds and 29 inches at her 9 month, which she was almost 10 months, but I dont think the percentiles mean too much, as long as she is eating properly, she might just be petite, dont stress about the numbers!

Well Reece has always been in the high percentiles for weight, since birth.  At his 9 month check up he was 23.5lbs, which put him in the 95th percentile range.  He was 28 inches and that put him at 30-40 percentile range.  I don't remember his head.  He's always been right on track with it.  The doctor put it that Reece was "short and fat", which upset me and that is a whole other story.  But, he's healthy and that's all that matters.

hehe for CUTE my sweetie is a BIG girl :) she has always been over the top for her height but recently dropped into the 95-100% at 29 1/4inches long and around 90-95% for her weight at 20lbs 10oz (a week later she was already at 22lbs) and her head she has always stayed around 90%.... makes me wonder how tall she is going to be, i'm 5'6 her dad is 6ft~!!!!!! it just goes WAY too fast :( !!!

Well Kyra has always been in the lower percentiles, but when we were at the doctor the other day (poor thing has bronchitis and ANOTHER ear infection) she weighed 17 lbs 9 oz and was right at 27 in.  So i think for weight she was right around the 35-40th percentile and height she is in the 25th as well.  She has a tiny little head so that was in the 22nd percentile.
