Newly diagnosed
I was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia today. My doctor is putting me on Cymbalta. Has anyone had any experiences with this medication? Good? Bad?
Welcome to our group. Finally getting a dx is a relief. I have been on Relefen ( NSAID) and now Celebrex for the pain and infammation for the past 10 yrs. but they are no longer working and It appears I will need to look into some type of maintainance dose of some type of pain reliever, not just an anti-inflammatory. Docs give everyone a hard time w those these days because unfortunately there are so many people out there abusing their docs for pain meds. I'll see how that goes. Don't know much about the meds yous are on but I'm sure someone here does. Again, welcome to the group.
I have been recently diagnosed as well, and curious about pain management medications... my worst complaint is headaches and burning pain in neck and shoulders. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!
