Making progress with severe mucus problem after eating

I'm not sure where to post this comment, but allergies seemed to fit.

Symptoms after eating (most) kinds of foods:
Mucus in between nose and throat.  Not a runny nose that drips, but I a serious mucus drip on back of throat that tickles and even touches vocal chord sometimes and (If I don't clear my throat) you can hear a rattle when I talk...this is the cause for throat clearing (for me).  The musus is so bad sometimes (some foods), I have to breathe through my mouth until I blow my nose.

Sometimes I cough/clear my throat so frequent or so hard it causes acid reflux to (come up) almost like throwing up....but the acid reflux is not a mucus-like fluid, it's much more thin and visous liek saliva....but a whole mouth full sometimes.

The Musus the drips from the "back of the nose" to the throat can be cleared through the mouth and spit out.
The color is clear and has no odor...

I went to the ENT several times with no result:

My Self-treatment:
I started watching (EVERYTHING I ATE and drank) including the types of oils/fat the foold was cooked in.
At forst I thought everything I ate caused the problem, but this is not the case.
Although I don't eat fast food very often, I noticed that fast food restaurants was a big BIG problem.  The Mucus was really bad after eating a cheese burger and fries....I would have the problem for an hour or 2 after eating until I disposed of several ounces of mucus (maybe a cup)???

I still haven't nailed the problem down 100% but I have made huge progress and I can now determine what NOT to eat before a business meeting, conference call or movie, etc...

Fried foods-REAL BAD
Cheese REAL BAD (some kinds of cheese is much worse than others)
Milk REAL BAD (including Organix Milk - will try SOY MILK tonight)
Hamburger (without cheese) AVERAGE...some drip but not as bad as with cheese.
French Fries BAD
Some kinds of Sweet Tea (BAD) from restaurants that may be using corn syrup instead of cane sugar.  The tea I make at home with cane sugar does not cause the problem....It might be preseratives and not the corn sugar ???
Orange Juice: Average

Water-No problem
Bread-No problem
Salad- depending on the dressing...No Problem
Veggies-No problem

It really helps If I blow my nose (10 times or more) after eating a BAD meal.  What I mean by this is if I know I'm going to eat something like a burger....and I have a business meeting afterwards...I need about 10 minutes afterwards to blow my nose...clearing my throat (through my nose) comepletely....after about 10 minutes of doing that the problem is not bad.

I'm working on nailing the problem down but I have determined that some foods are not as bad as others.

Good Luck
Take Care

There have been a few interesting studies  in recent years implicating high fructose corn syrup.  I have the same type of issues and it’s seems most pronounced with foods containing it.
