I've had false labour 3 times now with this pregnancy. Every time I thought for sure it was the real deal. I had major pain in my lower back, radiating to the front and into my inner thighs, and extremely painful BH contractions. This is my second full pregnancy (had an early m/c in 2008) and I thought for sure it was the real thing. Contractions 8 min. apart and everything (last time I was in the hospital I had 9 contractions in 15 minutes, just not strong enough). They told me that the thigh pain can be from the pressure of the baby's head on the cervix. Also, in second and subsequent pregnancies, things are felt differently, since your pelvic floor is weaker from having a baby before. It is normal, but if you do think something's going on, it doesn't hurt to go get things checked out. That's what they're there for :o) Also, I have had a lot of discharge that looks clear with white/yellow streaks. It's very stringy, and I was told this is my mucous plug coming out a little bit at a time. Sometimes it comes out all at once, sometimes it takes longer for it to come out. Hope this helps! Good Luck! :o)
