Spine PT/ Arthritis in neck

Hey, I thought I would see if anyone else has had this experience then I can be prepared.  I've had the latest migraine for about a month.  When I saw my Dr today we talked about a slight curve in my spine and arthritis that is in my neck so she recommended spine PT (specialist for the spine/neck) and deep tissue massage.  My mother, aunt and grandmother also had arthritis in their neck's as I do so we thought maybe it is contributing to the migraines.  Any thoughts?
Thanks
Tracy

Got a TMJ MRI yesterday and have an appointment next week to talk it over with a maxillofacial specialist.

Yes, I used to fall asleep during the acupuncture..I loved it.  Thanks for the letting me know your parents experience.  We will see what helps.

Hope you are doing well,
Tracy

One of my parents has been getting PT for their neck, which is in horrible shape by x-ray.  They have done tens unit, traction, heat, tips on improving posture, and exercises, though I don't think they've been doing deep tissue massage.  I had an acupuncturist do some massage on my trapezius and neck area and it was really nice, helped the muscles relax.
