small shiny pink bump on glans of penis

Hi there,

Recently I discovered a shiny (or velvety?!) small patch (or slightly raised area/bump) which probably measures 33mm in size on the top of my glans (see link for image). I have no idea what it is, as it does not tie in with any of the mentioned conditions that I've found online in relation to bumps/spots/patches on the penis.

It is completely painless, it isn't hard and it does not itch or sore and it has not expanded (so far). It has only been about 3 days but I am extremely worried that it may be a pre-cursor to something more serious.

If I stretch the glans (pulling the skin from both sides) the shiny area becomes sligthly white and a touch scaly (looks like dry skin or something). If you could please provide any information in regards to what this may be. If you need further images to have a look at please feel free to message me and I will provide them. Thanks.

Also, please don't take this offensively but I have found that a few experts in this forum seem to copy paste their answers when similar questions are asked; I would greatly appreciate if my question was answered as best as possible.

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to your input.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Shiny/velvety, raised, slightly white and scaly, solitary lesion (plaque), 33 mm in diameter, with no subjective symptoms (pain, itch, etc.) could be clinical findings of several diseases, most likely Lichen planus, Psoriasis, or Candidiasis. However, diseases like Bowen disease, confluent Condylomata acuminata (genital warts), Lichen scerosus, etc. have to be considered.

For the moment, keep lesion clean (soap and water), and dry (pat dry to avoid irritation). It is not recommended to start with specific dermatological / venereological treatment before clinical evaluation and laboratory tests (necessary for diagnosis conformation) are performed. Therefore, try to schedule an appointment with your dermatologist this or next week.

In the meantime, capture changes of lesion(s) by camera. Seeing those pictures will help your physician understand development/progression of skin/mucosal changes.

Yours in optimal health,

Also,

I've just realised that it is slightly raised. It's not so much of a patch. It looks like more like a raised area (like a bump).
