Giving up

I was raped about a month ago and am wondering if life is worth living anymore. I wish that my rapists had killed me to put me out of my misery.

As a guy I can't really offer great advice since I don't personally know the experience, except I would say 1 out of every 10 women I know have been raped and it makes me feel ashamed for my gender.
However suicidal feelings I know very well and those need to be attended to immediately. Your profile says Port Richey, Florida, so I found this:
The Salvation Army Domestic Violence P.O. Box 1050, Port Richey FL 34673
Hotline #: 813-856-5797
Call them as quickly as possible because they can help. They can probably give you a rape crisis number to call if they don't handle non-domestic cases.

Or if for some reason you are hesitent to talk to someone on the phone you can go online and get live online help at these websites:
http://apps.rainn.org/ohl-bridge/
http://www.nsvrc.org/

Please get help. Don't let the bastards win. They have taken enough from you. It might not feel like it, but they haven't taken your soul.
Good luck and stay online here. We care.

I think you should speak to a doctor and access appropriate support.

I have experienced adversity and loss in my life and at the time believe that life isn't worth living.  It is, it just takes time to work through some difficult emotions.

Things do get better.  At the moment things seem bad because you are unable to put things in perspective.  It is a bit like taking a close-up or zoom shot of that particularly negative aspect of your life.  If you were to zoom out you would see that there are other invaluable things in your life worth fighting for.

Believe me when i say i totally understand how you feel, i was raped 8 months ago and i too at times feel like i want to give up, i feel that that person ruined my life and i don't feel i can go anymore. All i can say is talk about it, tell someone who can help you and get as much support as you can.
Do you have family who can help you?
As everyone tells me these feelings do past and things do get better in time.
If you can find something that gives you some hope and focus on that, i'm probably not much help as things are still very hard for me, but don't give up life can be worth living, don't let that person destroy your life. Talk to someone as soon as you can and take care of yourself, take each day at a time. I wish you all the best.
