Had our first u/s today.  Baby is measuring perfectly for 7weeks.  We saw and heard the heartbeat of 147bpm.  So thankful!  RE asked if we wanted to do another u/s next week, so go in on 9/8.

Now praying daily for healthy babies and a full term pregnancy.
7) I'm feeling great! TTG I have not been really sick, the biggest thing with me is getting bloated (appear to be 4 months preggo!), hungry about every 2 hours and very sleepy..I can not get enough sleep even when going to bed at 8pm! But loving every minute and waiting to feel them moving inside me.
8) Don't know how to answer this one....the doctor got me pregnant with an IVF procedure (1st one!) but with my DH's juice ;)

Wishing and praying for eveyone a full term pregnancy and healthy babies!!!!!!

Anyone else having thick and tacky cervical mucus?  I've never had this before, most of the time it's a yellow/white color, occasionally it's been a little brownish.

Am I alone with this?

5) This is my second pregnancy. We had a daughter at 27 weeks due to severe pre-eclampsia and HELP syndrome. She survived for 16 days, but got an intestional infection due to being fed my brest milk and her intestines not being fully developed so they got infected and started to die.The infection was called NEC or Necrotizing Entercolitis. God blessed us with an angel on 10/30/2008 and took her back on 11/15/2008.

6)  We had to wait 15 months to TTC b/c the drs did a classical incision on the inside and a low transverse on the outside. My first appt will be next thursday the 26th at 6 weeks exactly.(really early I know, but they need to make sure that I am healthy)

7) Right now I am having some symptoms like morning sickness, nausea, tender breasts and a few others, but in the emotional realm, I am trying not to worry because I want this to be a really healthy prenancy. I luckily will be highly monitored for my blood pressure to make sure I don't her Pre-eclampsia again or at least that early agian. I also may have to go on blood thinners as well to keep my blood thin so in hopes to not get pre-eclampsia. Since I am a high risk there are many more things that I am not able to do, such as not being able to go on our cruise that we had planned since April to leave in the end of Sept. I just have to remain calm and not worry about things and believe that everything will be highly monitored, watched and fine.

8) My wonderful husband and Airman currently stationed at MacDill AFB in Tampa Florida and we have been married for 3 yrs and 7mos.

First Pregnancy

It's been 2.5 years that we've tried to conceive.  After one year of trying on our own, I started to look into testing.  I had my tubes check, I had an HSG test, and every other test you may have when you're trying to figure out why you're not getting pregnant.  I  had 10 rounds of acupunture and Chinese herbs, as a less invasive way of TTC.  My husband had 3 semen analysis tests. (His numbers were not the greatest, but they were also not the worst.)

I feel like we had done everything!  All of my hormones checked out normal, my tests all checked out normal.  I had an IUI in the Summer of 2009.  It didn't take.  We took some time off from testing, procedures, etc.  In January of 2010, I asked the Doctor about removing the fibroid.  So after 2 years of TTC, I had a Myomectomy. (The removal of a fibroid in my uterus.) That was in February.

My husband and I started talking about adoption last Fall and I felt really good about it.  We began our paperwork in May and were going to send them in in June.  Sometime around mid June, I had a feeling to hold off on the paper work.  I wasn't sure why, because we had both finally accepted the fact that we may never have biological children, and we were not sure why, because our bodies were fine.

Near the end of June, I had a positive pregnancy test.  I about died and I was in such shock, I couldn't even tell my husband for 2 days.  I didn't think it was real.  Well, on day 45, I bleed and continued to have a menstruation. :(  I thought, "Let's give it a few more months before we send those adoption papers in!" We tried again: we made passionate love all month long.  Well, my husband's sperm and my egg had a little date one night, and went to the Uterus to hang out for a while...and now we're pregnant! :)

I am trying not to worry about being pregnant, or fear of losing this baby.  I am focusing on what I want and I practice visualization techniques of what I see happening; a developing fetus, etc.  I have yet to make a doctors appointment.  Is this a mistake?  They say you should way until you miss your second period.  I'm just less than 7 weeks right now.
My husband knocked me up!  It's about time!

So I just got back from my 2nd u/s ladies and baby is measuring perfectly (7wks).  We were able to see the beautiful heartbeat just flickering away at 133bpm.  YAY!!!  So I have graduated to my OB but not stopping my progresterone for another week or 2.  My OB may want longer but we will see :-)

My RE said once you start taking them during pregnancy, you can't stop until 12 or 13 weeks when the placenta takes over.  OB said the same thing.  I would definitely double check just to be sure.

I think you suppose to be on them until 8, 9 or maybe 12 weeks pregnant because that when your body supplies sufficient progesterone without needing any assistance, I may be wrong.  I would just call and addess your concern. Honestly, I would continue to take them just for my piece of mind, it really can't hurt you.

My doctor took me off the luteal support, no more progesterone pills for me.  It seems my levels are good.  I'm a little uneasy about gettign off of these....what if my numbers are good only because of the pills...would the doctors be able to tell that?
