how do i know if i ovulate

Hey ladies i have a question. how do you know if you ovulate? i justed started temping this month, and i bought OPK'S as well however my periods are irregular and i am not sure when i should use the opks i want to use them as close to when im supppose to ovulate as possible. is there any signs besides ovulation pain that i can look for. ie temp rise. will the tracker tell me when i should ovulate? or do i have to put that on the tracker. help please!!!!

I can tell through  my discharge I always get a clear rubbery thing that comes out of me

thanks you so much for your comment. yes i have to try to use the opk its just i have heard that you have to take it at certain times of the day and you cant drink any water for three hours before. that is a lot. when i'm home its so hard not to drink anything for three hours. i have brought some vitex hoping it would regulate my AF so fingers crossed. SSBD.

Hi honey,the best time would be in the middle of your cycle but because you are irregular i would go by using an OPK when you get a slight rise in your temp.If you pay attention to your body you might get slight twinges of pain just before you ovulate.Some ladies also get tender breasts,pimples or an increased sex drive just before ovulation.I get twinges in my ovaries and slightly tender breasts and i also get increased sex drive too.I dont use OPK or chart my temp as it doesnt work for me.Just try and tune into your body and you will be surprised at what you find.I never used to but the past year or so i have and its really helped me so much.Hope that helps you honey Bev xx
