braxton hicks already?

So I am 15 wks 2 days along with my 2nd baby (4th pregnancy)...I woke up with some strong cramping and back pain at 4:30 this morning...when I felt my uterus it was rock hard.  Freaking out to be having contractions this early...I waited for an hour to see if they went away before I called my doc at 5:30...she was nice but didn't seem concerned at all.  She said as long as I am not bleeding the baby is fine.

I am still nervous.  It is now 9 am so like over 4 hrs have passed and I'm still having the light back and abdominal pain and occassional tightening of the uterus.  I think I will wait til the afternoon and call the doc again to see if she will see me just to make sure there isn't a problem.  Anyone else have experience?

I would say it's Braxton Hicks. This is my 5th pregnancy (4th child) and I had lots of BH during 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and now 5th. As long as they don't HURT and they don't get stronger and more frequent I would say they are BH. Mine did start that early too. Wishing you luck!
