telling the big news on Christmas

Anyone else telling family the big news on Christmas? I want to because it's the perfect time, but then again It makes me nervous telling anyone in the first trimester. Anyone doing something special to let people know?

We are announcing it on Christmas as well. We were just going to tell them, but we got a better idea yesterday. I had my ultrasound yesterday, so we are going to put the picture in his mothers stocking and tell her she has a present in there :)

I have no idea what we are going to do. probably just announce it again like we did last year. I figure if i wrap any kind of baby item up and give it to them they might just assume it's for our 5 month old. I figured I could make an outfit and put gonna be a big brother and have Aiden wearing it to see if anyone picks up on it.

We are planning on telling our parents on Christmas. We bought each of them baby bibs of the Pittsburgh Penguins to unwrap as the surprise. My husband actually came up with the idea. He is just so excited.

We plan to! I have my first doc appt and U/S tomorrow so just praying everything is ok! We got our DD a big sister in 2011 shirt and plan to have her unwrap it at my inlaws and probably wear it to my parents house on Christmas! I'll only be about 8 weeks by my estimate (will know better tomorrow) so we'll still keep it a secret, except for close friends and family, till the end of the first tri! its really whatever you feel comfortable with! I told my Best friend the day we took the test! congrats and merry christmas!
