Anyone else ready to pop the baby out, whether it's time or not?

I'm 38 weeksand have been having serious contractions on and off for the past month. My hips are almost completely out of joint due to Relaxin hormone, my mood swings are getting scary. Anyone else in the same boat and ready to have this baby whether they want it or not? :)

Than you everyone for responding! We did go in to the hospital onThursday and they kept me overnight, but eventually sent me home with an induction scheduled for 3am Sunday (essentially tonight!). It is amazing how having a very definite end in site is calming my nerves! My hubby said I seem like a whole different person this morning. :)
Blessings on all of you and your little ones! :D

I am right there with you. I go in tomorrow and am hoping they will get things started so I can have a New Years baby (or sooner) Just hot 39 weeks today.  I am feeling really uneasy today and am having some sharp pains.  We are expecting 12 inches of snow today and I have to go to the airport to pick up my hockey kids who are coming back from home. We billet every season. This year we have two brothers from CA. So the house will be crazy again.  I need to fit in a big grocery shopping trip and a Christmas party tonight as well.  Hopefully I will get off work early enough to get everyhting done.

I've been in the early stages of labor since a few days ago, monday i was at the doc and i was 2 cm and she could feel her head already. Yesterday i lost my mucus plug and have been having contractions ever since but nothing serious unfortunately.I went in for an NST yesterday and was having small regular contractions. My doc said she'll be amazed if i make it to my next appt and if i do she wants to schedule an induction for 39 1/2 weeks ish. I'm so ready for this baby to come, the back pain since she dropped has been horrible.  I think she wants to induce because since i want a vaginal birth and i have a small frame she's afraid that the baby will get to big the birth canal to handle. i really dont want a csec. So we'll just have to see! i really want her to come on her own! but knowing DH's stubborn italian side she'll wait just cause we want her to come so bad lol

I am almost 37 weeks and my  BH are the worst! I've been getting them more frequently over the past couple of weeks, and they just wear me out. I've found a hot bath helps alot. I've had some bad heartburn and indigestion lately, but I can't really say I'm helping matters with all the spicy foods I've been eating lol.  I'm measuring a little big, for the past 2 visits I've measured a week and a half ahead, so I'm thinking this LO won't make it another month lol. I've been dealing with some higher blood pressure and some swelling, so my midwife wants me to take it easy in the evenings. So far rest keeps the BP down, and a good foot massage from DH helps reduce my "Flintstone Feet" :0). Since I'm not showing any protein in my urine, and everything is being managed, we're not thinking preeclampsia yet, thank God! She is however, telling me that I should brace myself for the fact that I could be induced within the next few weeks.  I'm ready to not be pregnant anymore but I'm soo not ready to have my little girl yet lol. I still have so much nesting in me, gotta pack my hospital bag....  :0). Have any of  you gotten your GBS test done? I had it done at my last appt, and I should get the results back at my appt tomorrow.

I am so close, and yet so far away... lol

We are having a scheduled c-section tomorrow for my twins. I do wish that things were different though and we could have "cooked" them longer. But I pretty much ran out of amniotic fluid and Baby A doesn't have any room to grow any more.

My guy is still breech and hasn't descended yet.  I have a C-Sx date scheduled for Jan 11th in case he doesn't turn around.

I'm still feeling well, but am starting to have a lot of sciatica down my left buttock into my leg.  Would love to be able to take some ibuprofen for it, but will settle with tylenol and warm showers.

I voted for "Nah, doing great here" in that I still enjoy my freedom, being very active, sleeping fairly well, and I know that once the little guy comes, I will not get sleep for a long time.  Also want to wait till January as well.

The light at the end of the tunnel is definitely in site!  Good luck to all and Merry Christmas.

I am due in 5 days.. my hips and pelvic bone hurt like hell!! I still havent had consistant contractions- so she apparently isnt ready yet. Maybe this time next weekend I will have my baby girl in arms!!

I voted for I suppose, cause I'd like to make it to January.. but really just wanting her to come on her own.. no repeat c-sec for me please. That is my only Christmas wish today.
