Is it just me?

Is it just me or does it feel like evertime you eat you just get hungrier all over again? I have been eating like a cow and its to the point were everyone notices it now and look at me crazy. They tell me I need to stop and it doesnt make any sense but I eat like 5 times a day 3 to 4 meals full meals and a very big snack or 3 big meals and 2 full snack and 2 snack for me are 2 sandwiches(4 slices of bread with whatever between them) and a bowl of grapes or cereal or something...I just had dinner and my snack and I am hungry again not even 2 hours have passed!!!

Oh yes, this is my first pregnancy and I feel like a cow too because I am not even 8 weeks and have been having that "empty pit" feeling in my stomach everyday this week!  I try to just keep eating (mostly) healthy snacks every hour and a half and it works okay but if I go any longer than that or get busy with work and can't take a break....LOOK OUT!!! I am like a monster if I can't get some grapes, or crackers, or something in my belly!  I'm just scared that I'll end up gaining way too much weight because I was already overweight when I got pregnant!  But, I am not complaining overall because I've waited over 3 years to get pregnant for the first time and couldn't be happier that everything is going well with the baby.  Take care!

Thanks I was begining to feel like something was wrong with me. My doctor says baby was growing well and I actually go May 3rd for another ultrasound to see how big she is growing. I have went from a starting weight of 158lbs to 176 1/2 lbs now. I drink alot of water but thats seems to make me even more hungrier..I dont know maybe its just my appetite who knows..I feel assured now knowing that its not just me. I just got tired of my family looking at me like wow do you ever stop eating..lol, The worst part about it all is I have been craving bread so I have eaten it breakfast noon and night 24/7 and you would think I would have gained more weight. My sister says I maybe to active and burning calories fast. Who knows...thanks you guys ;-)

My little guy is so high I have trouble eating :( I can only eat small meals at a time and if i do eat too much i get serious acid reflux. It is actually sad that my 10 year old son eats 2x more then me now...LOL!!! In the past 12 weeks i have only gained 3lbs, My ob isn't worried though cause baby is growing fine and i gained a TON of wieght through the past 1.5 years with all the fertility treatments, drugs and misscarriages,

With my first pregnancy, I didn't eat hardly anything - but this pregnancy is the total opposite!  I feel like I have a never ending pit in my stomach that just never fills up!!  My midwife just said that as long as I make healthy choices with what I eat, then I don't need to be concerned!  Your obgyn will monitor you and let you know if you should become worried!  Have you spoke to your obgyn about your diet? It's probably hormones that cause us to be hungry constantly!  I find that if I tell myself I will talk a walk or job first, then it helps to curve my appetite and takes up some of my "boredom" eating time!  Also, try drinking a lot of water before eating anything - this will help you get that full feeling and not consume as much - that is if you're worried about excessive weight gain. Anyways, to answer your question - you're not alone!
