Here is the ultimate question: What are you ladies craving with this pregnancy?

I am feeling like my primary responsibility these days besides for house cleaning and other mommie duties is eating!  My cravings go all over the place.  I would love to hear what some of you moms are craving with this pregnancy.  If you had multiple pregnancies, are your cravings the same or different?

lol angela418, I have had both boys and had heartburn with them both.  The first one was born completely bald and was like that for a year I swear.  The second one did have thin hair when born.  I am thinking this one will have a thin coat of hair too because the heartburn has been pretty stout.

My trigger foods are strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries and greasy foods.

I haven't had heartburn hardly at all with this pregnancy.  I had a boy last time and this time a girl - not that it necessarily matters.  This time around, the heartburn is triggered by only certain foods - pizza is the main one.  Every time I eat it, I get major heartburn for the rest of the night.  Since I don't hardly have heartburn this time, I haven't bought any medicine for it, but when I was pregnant with my son, I had heartburn all the time and took Tums like candy.  They seemed to do the trick for the most part.  Also, drinking milk helped too.

On a side note - the old wives tail is that heartburn = a full head of hair on the baby.  Since I had it all the time w/ my son and he was born with TONS of hair, I am fearing my daughter may be bald due to my lack of heartburn this go round!  LOL

mine vary..  Some constant things are bananas, oranges, fresh veggies, pancakes, bean and cheese burritos..  I think I have a bigger list of what I will not eat lol..  most meat, chinese food, rice or any kind, anything with big smells that are overwhelming.. lol
But lately My Hubby hates for me to see commercials..  because there will be something I see that I want..  so far it was orange juice, jello, watermellon and this new ice cream bar called Magnum!!OMG the Magnum sooooooo good!! lol

Anyone here having heartburn along with the food they are eating?  If so what are you doing to treat it?  Any trigger foods?  I had a bowl of mashed up strawberries the other day on a shortcake and it gave me heartburn for the rest of the day grrr.....

Pizza, pizza rolls, pepperoni hot pockets, pizza sauce. ANYTHING pizza related I will eat..lol I've always liked pizza but I have never eaten this much pizza in my life. For a couple of weeks I was craving Kit Kats and had to have one every day (a few times a day lol) Now it's just whatever is in the house, I'll eat usually lol. I had chicken casserole yesterday.. not sure if I craved it or not but I also had it for breakfast lol... I'm kinda getting into taco's now :)

My major third trimester craving has been chilled watermelons!!! And the truth is, I have hated watermelons ALL MY LIFE. I never ate them, not even if someone cuts one, decorates the bowl and presents them to me. And one fine third trimester day, feeling really heated and tired I saw a load of water melons at a fruit shop and stopped by! LOL.. there has been NO stopping me after that. I am eating them day and night, they keep my acidity and heartburn away, I have zero constipation and feel hydrated. Also helps me to sleep soundly when I eat a big bowl of it after a light dinner.
Its funny how our body know exactly what it needs to keep itself in order!
Am now waiting for my summer baby to arrive :)

omg I love these comments makes me feel like I am not the only one feeling like a massive eater lol--- before my pregnancy I was a vegetarian, the smell of beef would just gross me out, now I'm eating hamburgers, cheeseburgers, steak, kielbasa, hotdogs with sauerkraut.  Chicken wings...I never eat those, they look like little chicken carcasses... I'm like what the heck.

I have had 2 boys so far and with both I cannot eat chocolate and I like chocolate.  If I do eat chocolate I wind up getting sick.  I'm able to eat fruits like strawberries and bananas, but even my yogurts that I usually love and cereal I don't crave.  For breakfast I ate leftover meatloaf, potatoes and peas.  lol love everyone's responses  Very interesting on the ice one, I have known some women to crave this as well.

Chocolate!!  It's definitely a girl in there ;-)  I'm not a big sweets person but we have like five different chocolate desserts in the freezer - fudge pops; ice cream sandwiches; mini ice cream cones w/chocolate on top; multiple flavors of ice cream...  it's bad.  I don't eat a lot at a time, though.  I usually have one or two treats a day. :-)

Meat and peanut butter.  I absolutely love peanut butter but now I can't get enough!  And meat!  I hate meat!  Well maybe not hate but before I got pg I would eat it maybe one time a day (and usually just chicken).  Now that I'm pg all I want is meat all the time.  500 times a day.  Steak, hamburgers, corn beef!  I swear it's not a baby in there but a T-Rex!  :-P

Ice...I can't get enough of ice. I know it's not good for me (since it lowers iron levels, so I've heard).
