It always feels like it is so hard to exercise after the baby gets here, you are tired, etc. and yeah I try to wait until after all the post-partum bleeding is done before I push myself. Walking with my little one helps get me motivated and gives me some energy.
I got this boot camp after pregnancy work out dvd and Im going to try and start about 4 weeks after delivery, I said try lol
Oh you ladies are inspiring me already! I am already itching to go back to my vegetarian ways. Its hard for me to eat meat, but I have been with my pregnancy and I am just craving large amounts of protein which I take it my body needs hence the cravings.
I been trying to keep exercising too during pregnancy to help me too.
i have just maintained a low gi diet along with excercise, due to having gestational diabetes while pregnant seem to have worked i'm now past my pre pregnancy weight
With my last baby, at 6 weeks we found out he had a dairy/soy allergy. I cut out all dairy & soy out of my diet, bread, all prepared/pre-packaged foods and only ate fresh fruit, meat & veggies :) No butter, mayo, used olive oil for everything. The weight melted off me. I lost over 12lbs my pre pregnancy weight. SO, I'm huge now from eating everything I can get my hands on. I'm only 28.3 weeks and I've gained about 27 lbs at least. I'm going to try that way of eating after the baby, combined with the breastfeeding!
You lucky woman! earthangle how much did you gain? I usually gain about 30-35 lbs.
sure I am hopfully I dont have much to lose!
You know what I was reading up on those do you have a link to the one you used before? I really had trouble getting my stomach to pop back into place no matter how much I dieted. So glad you posted this thank you!!!!
I'm going to try the postpartum support band, I used it with my last pregnancy and I liked it. It didn't worked overnight but I do feel like it helped out alot.
