Hey bobdylan1958.
There must be a good reason for this recommendation.
It is probably in the beginning of this adjustment that you are likely to experience
the most severity of the withdrawal symptoms. So hang in there!
Before bedtime try Pranayama Yoga Breathing.
There's free downloads that includes one for anxiety.
Here's the link: http://www.yogapranayama.net/
This stuff is just wonderful! You may need to practice a bit in the beginning.
Once you get into it, it will help you feel better in more ways than you expected.
Also search for free meditation videos online. Find the one suited best for you.
I personally LOVE Sonia Choquette. Just do a search. All this helps quiet the mind.
It brings the frequency down to an Alpha or Theta state.
There are many more things you can do, but I don't want to overwhelm you with ideas.
If you need more suggestions just post again.
Blessings,
Nikodicreta
Yeah getting off meds is hard. Just hang on. It should pass soon and like said already if it's really hard make sure and tell your doctor. And see how things go after you are off completely too. If your mood is still low tell your doctor.
I know getting off meds is hard. Try to go with it. If it gets overbaring let the doctor know. Getting withdrawals sometimes happen but just remember it will be over soon. Once you are off completely watch how you are feeling. I don't know what you are trying to get off but sometimes we need meds to help us cope. Good luck and take care. Smileyhappy.
