Intercourse After Miscarriage

When can you start having intercourse after a m/c? I just miscarried last week (6/30) and am not bleeding/spotting anymore.
My DH and I are really scared to try again so soon (not afraid to ttc just afraid of messing anything up).
Any thoughts on when it would be safe? Also, we're still waiting for our numbers to go back into single digits or zero.

Hi, I also miscarried in June ( June 26th). I was only 4w4d. It was actually on the day my period was due. I went though iui that cycle so we did early bloodwork and my pregnancy was confirmed. My hcg level was good but my progesterone was low. My doc put me on prometrium and I only took one dose and I miscarried the next day. I passed a quarter size clot that I know was the gestational sac. I'm still a little shocked. I didn't even have time to let being pregnant sink in and it's over. Anyway that's my story with my last pregnancy. I have three angels in heaven. So for the question at hand...we had sex at about day 4 after the m/c. We are going to do another iui cycle after AF comes at the end of the month. Just for kicks we going to try on our own this month. They say your super fertile after a miscarriage. I could stand to save some money.
I'm sorry we had to meet this way but happy we can pray for each other during this journey. Take care.

hi i also had m/c on june 12th .you can have intercourse as soon as you feel ready, no time frame,we had intercourse 4 days after m/c( i had stopped bleeding on day 3 )hope this helps you, if you are ttc again maybe you would want to talk to your doctor to see if he reccommends to ttc straight away, i know we didnt wait and started ttc staight away, but some doctors advise you wait one cycle before ttc, mine gave me the all clear to try straight away, hope this helps, SSBD XXXXXXXXXXX best of luckx
