I also have a low lying placenta and my doctor was just worried and made sure I understood NO SEX. which I have followed but he said that n most cases it will move up. ight now is you complete or partal? Mine is partially covers my cervix. The problems it can cause is bleeding and preterm labour. I hope it moves for you I find out in three weeks if mine is moved. I also really don't want to have a c-section

My sister had a low lying placenta when she was pregnant with my nephew and it did move up. At her 20 week ultrasound it was also less than 2cm from her cervix and then at 28 weeks it was more than 4cm. Hopefully it will have moved by your next ultrasound!
