1.5cm Dilated 60-70% Effaced!

Had my 36 week appt and I'm 1.5cm dilated and 60-70% effaced, baby is head down. His head is resting right on my cervix. I'm off all the meds to stop the contractions, I made it another 10 weeks since going into pre-term labor! But I've been contracting like crazy today and the pressure is unreal. Baby will be here anyday now thank God. I feel absolutely horrrible, I feel like I'm dying right now :(

I am so excited to see mami2karina you had your baby and the little one is adorable!

@ NicMom I know you gotta be close too :)  We are at 36.5 weeks right now so can't wait.  Contractions are a daily event for me.  And at night they are their strongest.  Keep us posted :D

Oh wow! I went and saw my ob today and she said I'm just a few days away so I am praying she's right. My contractions have died off I hope they pick back up over the weekend. I'm going to wait until Sunday evening before I try any walking or other meathods to get things moving.

I just went off the meds Monday. I'm having a lot of spotting today and my cervix is almost non-existant and the pressure, OMG I feel horrible. But I woke with that "today is THE day" feelings lol. So we'll see I guess. My last was born at 35 weeks, he was perfect and too went home with me 2 days later. You can't even tell he was a 5lb 12oz 35 weeker lol.

We have the same due date and I'm right along with you. 2 cm and 80% at last check with tons of contractions.

I had a 35w 2d baby girl last time and she was just fine. Went home with me two days later. 36 weeks is considered early full term.

Hang in there I hope it stops or you end up having that baby. I know how you feel I just want to either get him out or feel better. The non stop contracations are the pits. I went off the meds last Wednesday what about you?
