Chills/Shivers after 5 day Blastocyst Transfer

Has anyone experienced feeling really cold with chills and shivers after embryo transfer?  I'm on my 4th ivf transfer with none successful.  Each time, during 2ww, I have been woken up while sleeping because of feeling REALLY cold  and shivering.  I put an extra blanket on and then I wake up later sweating.  I wonder if I am rejecting the embie?

I have had similar issues, did you ever sort your issues and have success in your fertility journey? I see this is an old thread, I certainly hope you did! I have had quite a journey myself, so far 5 unsuccessful transfers, but I have a history of odd things happening in luteal phase, from hot flashes in the morning a few days after my surge, to having the chills wake me up in the middle of the night just like you, about 6-7 days after my surge during non-ivf cycles to having one 2 nights after a fresh transfer. My last frozen transfer I did not have the up in the middle of the night, however did have uncomfortable hot and cold fluctuations in the week before my period, which is also normal for me. That cycle I did not ovulate, which I think is the defining factor. What's worse is that dr's shrug their shoulders when I tell them about my symptoms. I did do a mock cycle after that fresh transfer mentioned above but before the last frozen transfer, with lovinox and prednesone to see if it was auto-immune, but I still had the middle of the night chills and my Dr. shrugged it off as not being auto-immune if I didn't respond to the drugs. I am doing new diagnostics with a new Dr but would love to hear your story! Thank you!

Fertility issues are SUCH a roller coaster.  I find that maddening that any doctor shrugs off your concerns.  I mean, first, trying to get pregnant is very emotional and second EXPENSIVE.  That's just annoying.  Can you begin with another fertility clinic.  I felt comfort by the statistic that only 5% of women can't actually have a child.  That means 95% eventually get pregnant!  That will be you, sweetie.  We tried for 4 years and finally were successful.  Then out of nowhere when my first born was 4 months old, I wound up pregnant with number 2 (no extra effort required . . . SURPRISE!)!    You could go to a doctor separately to find out about autoimmune disorders?  And really, the hormonal issue sounds like they need to tweak it.  I'm glad you are with a new doctor!!  Let me know how it goes.  You'll get your baby, sweetie!  Hang in there.

It sounds more like a reaction to the hormones you are taking.
