Still hanging in there...

Today I am 5 days overdue. Had my weekly checkup yesterday with no change, still dilated to a 2 & 70%, but not enough to allow for a membrane sweep. Bummer. Because I am now late, the Dr monitored heart rate & contractions for 20 mins during the appt. Baby's heartrate was a little low, so he sent us to l&d to be monitored for 2 hours. Lots of contractions, some only 3 minutes apart, but in the end they tapered off. Heart rate looked good, so they sent us home. Frustrated with waiting, but happy baby looks good, and feeling like it is only a matter of time now. Best wishes to all the new mommys and hugs & prayers to all those still waiting!

You guys hang in there as well. Scheduled to be induced by Weds. But hoping he comes before then!

Yes, glad to hear things are going well. I'm five days over as well...have another appt tomorrow. I was hoping to avoid an induction, but I'm asking for one now. Hang in there!

Glad everything is going well good luck I hope u go soon I am 4 days late and extremely impatient although I am due to be induced on Sunday so I will meet my new little boy by next week just hoping he comes sooner :-)
