I have been taking Victoza for the past year, I am now taking 1.2. Now and then I started getting short of breath. I have regular check ups and Dr's found no reason for me to be short of breath, not thinking anything about Victoza. This has been all me noticing this. I weaned back to 0.6 and after a few days the s.o.b. came back. I have since repeated this going back and forth, a few times. It always returns. Dr doesn't think it is the Victoza but there is nothing like repetitive results. I'm seriously thinking of just stopping it.
I am diabetic 2. Taking Levemir 23 units at night. 13 unit humalog in every meal. Sugar is not very well controlled yet. But does not go above 10 mmol/l . I feel shortness of breath, if I walk or quickly come in the bed. Before 6 months EKG was done and no problem. Can any body help me
Shortness of breath is called Dyspnea. A Google search returned this page showing Victoza causing Dyspnea.
