Weird single eye color change overnight?

I'm not sure if this is anything serious or not, but one of my cat's eyes has been a weird color since yesterday morning.

It doesnt look crusty or anything, and hes not really tearing..But its almost like a slight glazed shene over the eye and it has a redish tint. I took a few pictures of it, not sure if you can see it too well.

Great question - sorry for the delay in answering it.
You really need a veterinarian to examine your cat's eyes to determine the cause. They will want to use an opthalmoscope to view the back chamber of the eye and the retina, and perhaps run a few simple tests to look for a scratch or problem with tear production. Eye cases are generally easy to treat once the diagnosis is made however.

I am not Dr.Redford, I'm sure he'll reply real soon with is thoughts...I just saw this and wanted to tell you what it could very possibly be b/c I had the exact same thing happen to one of my kitties a few years back(one red eye)...the Vets took tons of swabs and gave him eye drops on multiple occasions thinking it was some sort of infection..finally after 2 months of NO improvement he was sent to a Veterinary College where he was examined from a variety of specialists....it turned out to be high blood pressure that was putting alot of pressure on his eye....b/c of taking so long to diagnosis and treat the blood pressure my kitty ended up being blind in that eye and eventually the eye needed to be removed. I would strongly suggest you go to a clinic where they have the proper cuff to measure his blood pressure.....high b/p can be a sign of CRF also.
