No fetal heartbeat :(

My 1st ultrasound wasn't what I had planned. The re saw no heartbeat and said I was going to miscarry :(. I am 6 weeks by LMP. But only about 4 from the day I did the HGC trigger shot? Is this still possible? I go back in 5 days from now but thinking he is just giving me time to grieve

That's so sad that they are like this :( I pray you have better news tomorrow! Maybe this other RE will be a bit more compassionate.

I agree....don't give up just yet...that can be too early to tell. 6 weeks is about when the heart does begin to beat so you could have a slower grower or it just wasn't the time yet. I would def ask for another ultrasound before any decisions are made for d&c's.

Sometimes 6 weeks is to early to see hearbeat. You could have ovulated a few days late. I seen this happen sevral times and they see the hearbeat a week later. Don't give up just yet. Make them do another u/s and maybe find another doctor. Was inconsiderate of him telling you that just yet
