scar tissue pain

I have had 2 bowel resections, surgery for an ectopic pregnancy, and other small surgeries.I have a lot of scar tissue. My ob/gyn did a laparoscopy to diagnose endometriosis and said that I have adhesions all over my abdominal cavity. My right ovary is attached to my uterus with adhesions and my bowels are covered. I have dealt with the pain of scar tissue since I was a teenager. Usually if I turn a certain way or cough too hard or do something wrong exercising, the scar tissue will pull. It always feels like when you stub your toe or hit your elbow hard on something. The pain is really bad for a minute or so, and then goes away. Today I coughed and had the pulling pain like always. Then I sneezed and had a terrible ripping sensation. That was hours ago, and it still hurts. Does anyone have these types of pain issues? Could something internal actually be ripped?

my dr does not like me in pain, and when the pain of the tugging and nausea gets so bad, he admits me to hospital to surgerically take care of it, and keeps the pain under control.  He knows by now that if I am in that much pain that something has to be done.

I would think you need to check with your dr to see what is going on.  The bad thing with scar tissue is that it doesn't show up on xrays, etc, til the surgeon gets in there operating.

I have the same problem lots of scar tissue, adhesion pain.  I had 3 surgeries in 2010 for scar tissue the last one was open.

This may 5 I was admitted to hospital with all the classic symptoms and on may 9 had to have surgery, suppose to be laproscopic but scale tissue had bowels in a kink so bad that I had to be opened up.  Stayed in hospital almost 2 weeks, between before surgery and after surgery waiting for my bowels to move.

I know where you are ,still recovering slowly from the surgery, lifting and strenuous anything makes me hurt.

I don't know what to do to prevent this from happening again dr says there is nothing I can do to prevent it.

You heard any suggestions???
Thanks
