Pain on right side

Im currently 35 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing severe pain down my right side from my rib to my hip, then occasionally spreading into my abdomen. This has been non-stop for over 24 hours now.

I have also been getting constant Braxton hicks contractions, sweating, headache and a cramp in my leg that won't ease. I have had a very smooth pregnancy so far, so unsure of what is going on.

Called hospital, they recommended I go see my doctor (was his day off) so seen a normal doctor who didn't even examine me and said I had gastro- told him I didn't think he was right as my symptoms were not gastro related.

I then called hospital again, midwife said to use a heat pack. If I still had pain tomorrow to call them. I feel as though no one is taking me seriously!

I've barely slept for 2 days, and am in constant pain- has anyone else had doubts about Medical advice given?

They sound like normal pregnancy symptoms unfortunately... i have the same pain on my right side and the doctor said its just sciatic nerve pain. The only thing that helps me is a ton of pillows in all different positions until the pain is gone. Your body is just sore. You're almost there though!
