cramping at 19 wks

This is my first pregnancy so I don't know what to expect. I'm 19 wks along and started cramping. Not like I need to poop or gas cramping. It's like period cramping completely in my ovaries. I haven't cramped like this since I was 8 or 9 wks along and I'm scared something is wrong. The baby will slightly kick while I'm cramping and Idk if that is a good or a bad thing. Did anyone else have this?

Hi Blonde2326.  I absolutely had this as well.  I agree with your doctor that it is likely ligament stretching.  How did your scan go last week?

I had the exact some thing cramps at 9 weeks and cramps at 19-20 weeks. Baby would kick during the cramps too so I wasnt to concerned. They were period like cramps that only went away if I was laying on my back. They went away after a few days, I never got checked out for them, I guess it was just baby growing cause after they stopped I magically got fater lol

I'm 19+3 and get period like cramps as well.. I told my Doctor at 15 weeks and he said it's normal. He recommended a heating pad to help ease the pain.
