If you were my patient, I would advise you that the only way to choose the sex of a child is to do a special procedure on the sperm and pass them through a column. The "girl" sperm is heavier than the "boy" sperm.
This procedure can be done at a few fertility clinics around the country, but is not widely available. Other than that, your chances are about 50-50 for a boy.
