Baby hasn't turned at 41 weeks

Hi
Im 41 weeks - baby hasn't turned. Dr says I have to do a csection. Has anyone had the baby turn during labour? What are the chances that he turns during labour? Is it worth it for me to wait and see if he will turn so I can have normal vaginal birth or must I just concede to csection. I am tired as well and the wait has been frustrating(to put it mildly). Please advise.

Go to a pool and do a flip in the water. May sound stupid but I know someone that did that and it made baby turn at 42 weeks, so asked doc to check one last time and baby was head down so he induced her that night so the baby hopefully wouldn't turn back.

There are ways to turn the baby but they recommend doc doing it and doing it at the hospital so baby can be monitored for stress and even then sometimes baby will turn back around. Definitely talk to your doc more about it.

Thanks I'll try the squats - my check up in two days if nothing changes I will opt for a csection then.

The chances of the baby turning during labor are slim. You also have to think about getting the baby out safely and don't want to risk the chance of him coming out breech and them having to do an emergency C-section anyway. Have you tried looking up ways to turn the baby on youtube or google? They say that squats help the baby get into position, but I am not sure if that helps this far along in the pregnancy since the baby is newborn sized but it wouldn't hurt to try.
