It is now 2021 and I was wondering if you recovered and if so, how? I hope you are well. Would you not recommend a titanium implant at this point? tia

Sounds exactly like me right now - I feel like I am an emf magnet - my head feels 'full' and my ears are ringing, and I have jaw and ear pain if I use the phone, and it seems to stay more or less permanently then - all my joints are now being affexted . . .I had mercury exposure - swallowed residue from amalgam being removed, containing mercury. I am going to Munro Hall clinic for V-tox, and complete mouth clean ie removing infected teeth - etc etc - go to their website, better still have you read Toxic Dentistry Exposed? Its a must read - good luck - you can email me on ***@**** :)
I had Clifford testing done, which is highly recommended to detect metal sensitivity toward dental materials. It did not show that I was sensitive toward titanium, but did show sensitivities with nickel, aluminum and silver.
I am now studying the possibility of titanium causing a build up of biofilms (colonies of antibiotic resistant bacteria) in my jaw. Apparently titanium is a breeding ground for biofilms and many with hip and knee replacements are running into issues with chronic illness following their surgeries. So I may not be sensitive to titanium, but it could be that I have a build up of antibiotic resistant bacteria in the vicinity of the implant with biofilm formation. I am searching for an oral surgeon who is familiar with this problem.
Hi, your symptoms could be due to an immune response to titanium. Immune response to implants is commonly reported in the literature and can include hypersensitivity related to pacemakers, dental implants and orthopedic appliances. The MELISA test is the only scientifically-proven test which can objectively diagnose titanium allergy and measure its severity. You can discuss this with your doctor.
Those who test positive are advised to avoid exposure if possible. This may include switching to titanium-free toothpaste and cosmetics, or in some cases, consider removing a titanium implant from the body. Regards.
