Hi, my question has nothing to do with eye twitching and maybe there was another way to contact you or post a new theme somehow but since I'm new at the website I'll write my question here, sorry for the eventual inconvenience. Do you know if a ovarian cyst of almost 4 inches (10 cm) here in my country, can be removed while preserving the ovary? how, by laparoscopy or laser? it used to be functional but according to the last ultrasound it has turned complex but not too much yet I think, didn't made all the exames yet. Thank you for your attention.
Eye twitching is quite common and we don’t know exactly what causes it, but usually it is triggered by sleep deprivation or stress. It sounds like it happened after hitting your head, but it also happens at other irregular times. Other things that can trigger eye twitching include eye strain, caffeine, alcohol use, medication side effects, dry eyes, or allergies.
In general this is not something to worry about and will go away by itself.
It is very unlikely to be a sign of a more serious neurological problem, but if it were to worsen or if you were to develop any other concerning symptoms then I would recommend you see your primary care physician.
