Theres a new med called Diclegis. Its a combo of doxylamine (active ingredient in Unisom) plus vitamin b6.
Vitamin b6  alone may do the trick. They put it in prenatal vitamins for nausea. If u cant find the combo product or its not covered on insurance you can buy those two things separate over the counter.
Otherwise i've seen doctors prescribe zofran during pregnancy. Pretty safe.

While overseas I was driving with some local acquaintances. I was pregnant and trying to control my nausea with less and less success. One of the men stopped the car, bought a lemon from a roadside seller, cut it in half and gave a half to me to suck. It kept me from vomiting and I used lemons after that to help with nausea.

Dear cheybob18:

Morning sickness is very common during pregnancy, especially during the first trimester.

I understand that you are not feeling well, however, it is not recommended to take medications to relieve symptoms of morning sickness. Many medications can harm the baby's normal development. Please consult your OBGYN, primary care provider, and pharmacist before taking any medications during pregnancy.

There are many self-care steps you can to do to help reduce the pregnancy discomforts:
1. Instead of 3 large meals, snack often during the day, i.e. every 1-2 hours. It is a good idea to have snacks, such as soda crackers and dry toasts, easily accessible. Do not skip meals, and avoid lying down right after eating.

2. Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day. Avoid drinking large amount at one time, instead, sip often from a water bottle.

3. Eat food high in proteins and complex carbohydrates. Avoid spicy and fatty foods. Avoid smells that bother you.

4. Ginger products, such as ginger tea, ginger candy, and ginger ale, may help reduce stomach discomfort. Smelling lemon may also help.

5. Get plenty of rest and sleep. If possible, exercise daily.

Take care!
