I am very, very sorry to hear this. I am not sure exactly what happened and whether it was a cardiac issue. My sincerest sympathies to you and your family.
Thasks doctor, following the removal of the drain, dad has difficulty breathing a day later which may also be due to fluid overload. He then passed away. If I can procure his medical reports I wonder how to bring this forward.
if he is uncomfortable they may need to drain the fluid but typically we dont like to do invasive procedures if avoidable
Thanks. We just found it strange that a different doctor advised that the drainage will only be removed when the body dispel 50 ml of fluid. He is getting more breathless and his condition seem to be worsening.
sometimes the fluid needs to be drained for relief of discomfort. Ascites is not uncommon to occur post-transplantation. Treatment of the viral infections will hopefully help the ascites resolve
