Toddler oxygen levels 88???

Hello , my daughter we t to the er today for coughing and trouble breathing... They ended up putting her on oxygen ... Levels ranging from 88-92 is this normal!? What could cause this? Also we got sent to a permanent room and now her oxygen is 87 and they don't hVe the oxygen on ??!! ?? Is thus bad?? Her heart rate is 155 is that normal?

Hi

Oxygen levels really should be in their high 90's. A reading of 94% is what is needed. She will require oxygen to keep her saturations high. Make sure they are above 94%. Without knowing the age of your daughter I can not comment on the heart rate. When a child is having respiratory problems the heart needs to work harder to get the oxygen around the body...hence a higher pulse rate.
