Cerebral Palsy and Sex

I am going to ask a question about sex, just so nobody freaks out--I have no intention of making anybody uncomfortable.

I am a 27 year old gay man with mild cerebral palsy, which mainly affects my left side.  I am very mobile and even run marathons, but I have never been good at sex--to the point where I cannot even get into very many positions and where it takes me a LONG time to finish.  Without trying to be too graphic, I tend to need to resort to my partner's hands finishing the job, because it is hard to maintain an erection for me.  I don't know if this is just a problem related to me personally, or if other people have issues as well.  Any advice on how to make it easier or anything like that would be helpful, too.  I met somebody very special and want to be as able-bodied as possible.  I know that this is, in the grand scheme of things, far down on the list of concerns, and I do not mean to trivialize.  Thanks.

First do not worry or be nervous about asking questions. That is why everyone is here, to help answer peoples questions if possible.

Now as for you not being able to maintain an erection, you need to go see a Urologist to talk about having erectile dysfunction (ED) which it sounds like you are suffering from. As for the positions you are able to use or not you. The only advice I can give you is keep trying different ways until you find what works best for you.
