concerned

So my baby girl is 6 days old, and she will not go into her bassinette. The only way I can get her to sleep is to lie down with her and have her head on my arm while she's on her back. How dangerous is this? I don't move in sleep, I strip the bed and she is swaddled, and she I'd on her back, not near .y pillow whatsoever.

You can read up about co-sleeping which is recommended by some and discouraged by some.. At the hospital we rented a suite and the nurse put the baby in the bed with me and my husband and said "it was very very good for the baby". so it really depends everyone including nurses and DR have different opinions about it. There are pros and cons for both sides. but here is a link that should be helpful.

My son hated his bassinet too, so I returned it.
He loves his pack n play and sleeps in there or on my arm just like your little one.
It is dangerous, you're told not to do that.
You never know if you could smush them.
Just be careful.
Try the pack n play or a swing :)
