Castor Oil

I'm 38 weeks + 2 days and I got an internal 2 weeks ago and I was 1 cm dilated. Since then I've been walking around the mall for hours at a time almost every other day to bring on labor, but nothing. I know there's an on going debate about consuming castor oil to bring on labor. Has anyone tried it and had it been successful? Also, how much is the appropriate amount to consume? Thanks!

I took a 3 times and haven't had a single contraction, and it didn't work as a laxative either for me. I'm pretty sure I didn't dilute too much either. So I stopped taking it

Did not work for me. Ask your doctor about evening primrose oil that helps an  is better than castor oil cause you can get diarrhea pretty bad
