titanium dental implants

I had two titanium dental implants in Nov. 1995 and one more in January 2013.  I am having some very weird health problems and all tests so far are negative, but I am very ill.  I've had allergies in the past and wonder if I could be allergic to the metal.  How do I get tested for it and where?

I know it's been a couple years, however should someone have the same question; https://www.orthopedicanalysis.com/   is the only trusted test in the US for metal testing.

How are you doing now? Did you get better? or worse? Do you recommend titanium or would you not recommend a titanium implant? tia

Titanium is the metal of choice for implants because they are durable and are compatible with tissue/bone. I suppose it possible for someone to have an allergy to titanium because anything is possible, but highly unlikely. Go to the dentist and have some xrays done and see what the dentist says. Tell them everything and if you aren't satisfied go to another dentist. Good luck and I hope you find the cause.
