My Labor Story! 3 days long!!!

On the 24th, I went at 5:30 am to be induced. I wasn't dilated and my cervix was still high. I started the pitocin at 7. By 3 I had only dilated to 1 cm. At 5 I started the pill they insert into your cervix to thin it. By Tuesday morning I was 90% effaced. I started the pitocin again at 6 am. I had strong close contractions all day. I dilated to 4 cm easily and wasn't that painful but I still got the epidural. At 5 cm my son's head was trying to push through my cervix! Painful!!!!! When I was getting my epidural the woman hit a blood vessel therefore I had to get restuck. After I got the epidural it was smooth sailing for about 3 hours until the epidural wore off on my left side. Contractions were coming every 1-2 minutes. I only felt pain on my left side. So I got my medicine for my epidural. 2 more hours passed I was 6 cm epidural wore off again. I got more medicine. 3 more hours went by epidural wore off again I was 7 cm at this point. The nurses didn't want to give me another dose by I was in toooo much pain. At 4 am Wednesday morning I got my last dose of epidural. It put me to sleep for about 2 hours. My doctor scheduled for an emergency c section because somehow I caught an UTI while I was in the hospital. I had a fever of 102 and my son's heart rate was 189. At 7:50went in for my c section, I didn't feel the cut but I felt all of the pulling and pressure. At 7:59 my son was born! He was 8 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches low. However, he was rushed to the nursery because he had fluids in his lungs! He was on oxygen for a whole day. My doctor said he was stuck in my pelvis! Overall , all 3 days was worth it because I got my prince at the end ! Good luck other moms!
