Malignant melanoma

A friend of mine is fostering a young male dog that has malignant melanoma on his snout. His vital organs show no signs of cancer, but does have some infected lymph nodes. Can anyone give me any advice on diet and homeopathic remedies that would help with his condition? Also, any suggestions on a remedy for the open sore on his snout? I read about turmeric paste and its possible  healing effects. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Hi There. Can I please recommend the Forever Living Freedom Aloe Vera drinking gel. I feel it would be of great help to the poor baby. Aloe has cleansing effects and will help with his overall wellbeing this should be added to his food in 60ml daily dosages every day.. For the issue on his snout I recommend the Aloe Vera Gelly. That can be applied directly to his snout and because it is an all natural product, it doesn't matter if he lick it's off and injests it. Using both these products together will help prolong his life, make him feel a little better with wellbeing improved and also ease his issue with his snout. I have a page where advice is given in aloe Vera and how to use correctly with your pets. Please only use Forever Living on his snout though as any other brand is not safe for internal/oral use. Aloe gelly is safe as it is live culture. I have used it to ease mouth ulcers and can be used on babies to help teething. I also use it on my dog as she has a tendency to lick her paws to the point of baldness and sores. This stuff sorts it right out and is safe if she licks it off. My page is Forever Living Animal Care. I am a distributor, however I am also a qualified holistic therapist and reiki master so I endorse all things holistic. The reason I chose forever was because of the purity of the aloe used in them. So please even if you don't buy from me, just try it out if you can. X

Did some reading on the link I posted above, now I'm not so sure how objective it is as I see they are trying to sell product. Just keep that in mind.

Tough one. Malignant? I'm guessing that you can only try to lengthen his life expectancy. I lost my 12yo Pit/Mastiff to melanoma. Hers presented as some lumps, but never caused skin ulcers.

I tried desperately to beat it with supplements, but was only able to extend her life about 3 more months than the vet projected. And the supplement regiment I had her on was so numerous, I had to keep a log to keep track.

Here is some info that you can absorb if you are serious about getting into the fight:

http://cancerfightingstrategies.com/melanoma.html

In the meantime, if it were mine, I would get at least 500mg of vit. C into him daily. And since many cancers are virus caused, I would be getting at least a 20 billion count of quality acidophulis into him daily.

There are many more, but I'm not getting into it. The information is out there for you to decide. The site I listed is one.

As far as I know, nothing herbal is going to kill the cancer, all you are doing is helping HIS body try to kill it. We all have cancer, it is just when our bodies are not able to kill, or control it, that it becomes a problem.

As for a topical ointment, I don't believe anything is going to heal the ulcer from the outside unless the cause of the ulceration can be diminished.
