^^^ 100% agree2-! He should get the snip. It's a very simple op for a man.

You've done all the work of pregnancy and childbirth and contraception up to now...his turn.

He should get a vasectomy.  They are cheap, fast and safe.  And if, in the long run, he changes his mind, they are much easier to reverse than a tubal ligation.  Tubal ligation is a much more major surgery, and reversing it risks scar tissue that can cause ectopic pregnancies.  If a man has a vasectomy reversed, the worst that can happen (if there is scar tissue) is that the reversal won't be a success.  But ectopic pregnancies can be life-threatening to the woman.

Also, how would he feel about the question of more children if there was an improvement in the family's fortunes?  Also, don't tell him this, but if in the unpredictable future you were to be widowed and remarry, you might want another child.  He can write the opportunity to have another child off for himself all he wants, but he does not have the right to write it off for you.

Don't worry, he'll want sex again.  If he doesn't trust your IUD, he can wear a condom along with it.

I don't want more kids but I am not comfortable getting tubal ligation so I chose IUD but when my husband learnef  that I chose IUD over tubal ligation he told me we are not going to have sex anymore because he does not trust IUD and we can't afford to have more kids. I feel really sad about it.

Are you saying you don't want any more children?  Or just that he absolutely never wants any more?  You don't need to get a ligation if you don't want to.  There is nothing to stop him from getting a vasectomy -- it is a much simpler and cheaper operation anyway.  Tell him have fun at the urologist's, you'll see him at home.
