i've had to use this cream called Clobetasol Propionate usp 0.05% and aterax.  but it doesn't prevent it only relief and invest in a couple humdifire sp? for the livingroom and bedroom and any other part of the house you are in alot.  The sun is not your friend.

Hello ardita.  Are you treating for hep c?  Is the itching caused by the meds?  If so,  I used Benadryl tablets and took oatmeal baths.  Actually I think I used every over the counter anti itch cream my local pharmacy sold. ; ]  I know others here sought help from a dermatologist and so maybe  they will recommend a prescription product.  If you're not treating for hep c, try steven's advice.
