I know this may not answer your post but to anyone who is having issues with w/d or addiction need to try Kratom! It is at the local smoke shop and you will lose all craving and w/d symptoms or effects! Please do some research on kratom prior to trying it out. If I were describe it to the best of my abilities I would say, it us a plant in close relation to coffee. It is ground up leaf either into capsule or powder form. This plant (kratom) has effects similar to Norcos however, it runs through your caffeine receptors rather than the opiod receptors. Personally I dose with about 15-25 capsules. The more you take the more it feels like vicodin. This plant is very underground and isn't FDA approved however you can purchase at almost any smoke shop (atleast in my state) prices vary but if you're emptying your pockets to buy pills from dealers or even find yourself depending highly on any opiod substances, this plant will give you your life back as well as help maintain a healthy bank account. Please do your research prior to taking any but I STRONGLY recommend you try this. I hope this helps you please let me know if there's any other questions that I may help with!
Sincerely,
D.W.
Hi- I know this was while ago but how did it go? I’m having same issue! Please tell me yours went away and how long it took!
Same symptoms! I am new to suboxone...on my 3rd month of 8mg. Severe joint pain and hand numbness....will this go away or get better?! I feel like I’m 90 years old....I can hardly get out of bed in the am without crying; same getting up out of a chair or out of car after driving...., everything aches and my knees especially feel very tight and I can’t kneel. Has anyone else had this side effect? My dr dismissed it as not caused by the Suboxone but it started within a week of starting suboxone.... it has helped so much with my addiction to team idol I am hoping this will get better?! Thank you for any input
My doctor finally put me on Lasix. Coming off of Suboxone plus taking the Lasix reduced the swelling.
I was on Suboxone for 6 months and I had to come off of it because of swelling. My ankles were so swollen I couldn’t even walk. The medication is great for withdrawal and cravings, but swelling is definitely a side-effect.
Yes water retention can be a side effect of suboxone.
Have you discussed this with the prescribing doctor?
Too much water retention/edema can become a serious
Problem. It can surround the lungs and heart. I would definitely get to a doctor.
