Most typically insulin is prescribed during pregnancy.
Glyburide forces your pancreas to put out insulin. This may or may not be effective, though there is a risk of lows.
You can also help yourself by avoiding sweets and eating plenty of healthy fats, and proteins, and eating complex carbs in moderation.
My doctor also prescribed me Glyburide. Looks like it is safe for pregnancy, you just have to watch out for signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia.
