Blood sugar after eating a food with sugar is it pre diabetes?

I checked my blood sugar in past 2 days
and it was  81-85 fasting and around 99 after eating a meal ( vegetarian with no sugar added).

Today i tried to eat Popcorn covered with a caramel.
150 calories
Total Carohydrate 30g
Dietary Fiber 2g
Sugar 19g

And in 10-15 minutes i checked my blood sugar again and it raised up to
148
But before same day readings was:
After meal ( no sugar ) 94
Fasting blood sugar at morning 81

Is such raise normal or not?

Hi, your fasting and post eating numbers reported are completely normal with your regular diet.

When you ate high carb food (popcorn covered in caramel) you blood sugars did go a little higher than absolutely ideal, but not to a worrying level.

What does this tell you?  it tells you that you should avoid / limit very sweet and high carb foods.

Hope this helps.

Try waiting 2 hours after your meals to check sugar. You give it time to rise & then fall/stabilize back to your normal levels. Are you experiencing any of the high blood sugar symptoms like nausea, dizziness, weakness, anxiety, sweats, chills? Like you've come down with a bad flu?

I experience such symptoms.
But it fell down after a test to 82 or 84.
( in 2 hour period).
And after i used A1C home test which showed the result as 4.5
