Single mum at 34

I'm now 6 weeks pregnant have an abortion scheduled next week. This was a total accident and was the 1st time i had sex with the dad. I do want a baby but not like this I want to know the dad. Be in a realtionship  etc. But it looks like if i continue I will be a single parent.  He will be involved as a dad but how much i dont know.  Hes not been very interactive since telling him. This is not how i  wanted to become a mum. Father doesn't want the baby. Just need advice if anyone is or has been in my situation....

Please make sure you are a million percent sure before you go through with a termination. Slightly different but I am 5 months free from a domestic abuse relationship. During this relationship I had 2 terminations (not byet choice) and have had 2 other miscarriages  (through assaults) the terminations came before the miscarriages and they mentally messed me up!!! I have and never will get over them. Only you know what's best for you and can make that decision but please make sure you are certain as there is no going back once you have done it. I am now 8weeks and 3 days pregnant by a guy I met and slept with a couple times. Isn't ideal as I'm in a refuge with a 10 year old son but this is my future and termination was never a option  because off precious experience. Good luck with whatever you decide xxx

I think its totaly your decision, on one hand your time is limited to having any children. They say it gets more difficult to concive and hold onto a pregnany after 35 geting increasingly harder each year. On the other hand, its your body, if you dont want children you shouldnt feel forced into it just because it happend now. Dont let anyone make this choice for you. Good luck huni xx

Think think and think it over and over. I never thought about an abortion but I know some that have had them and to be honest they regret it to this day. As much as you think he may not want the child men don't know how to express themselves. Give him a chance and if he don't step up give the baby up for adoption. Don't harm an innocent baby like that, they didn't ask for you to get pregnant. Just my 2¢

Do what you think is best for you and the baby dont have them if you are just gonna resent them for their father. (not that you would). A baby is a huge responsibility. And if your still not sure you can look into open adoptions. I'm sure someone would love to have the baby and have you in the baby's life if you choose. You have lots of options. Don't forget the world is your oyster.

Don't give up! You never know what is going to happen. But I can promise you, the future is bright. This baby is a wonderful gift for you and your life. God opens the door to a new, better life for you. Don't reject this chance. If you say yes, it might be painful and difficult but soon you will be the happiest woman in the world. You will get help and support, even if not from the baby's father.
Please reconsider your decision. I will keep you in prayers.
I'm also pregnant now and it's also not the way I always planned it. What is more, I face many difficulties, pains and terible mood swings. I'm not happy most of time. But... Im telling myself, the better days will come. Women are created in the most wonderful life - to give a new life. Your baby loves you, this is what matters.

A baby is a precious gift from God unless you already have kids. God always steps in in that situation. Men are not always so excited about being a father until we're holding that baby in our arms and fall in love for the first time in our lives. As a man I'm telling you that not every man knows how to be a father. It is your job to make sure the child has his/her father in his/her life.
