immunoglobulin

I am type 1 diabetic for 12 years and i am insulin dependent.Does my diabetic will affect my immunoglobulin level of IGG and IGM. If it affect then it is very diificult to find viral infection?

Hi.  Type 1 diabetes is autoimmune.

Having one autoimmune condition, is also associated with having other autoimmune conditions.   Thus, the IGG and IGM levels may be related to autoimmune conditions, though not necessarily directly to diabetes.

On the other hand, though, maintaining normal blood sugar levels is pretty important to keeping your immune system working as best as possible.
