Can I smoke marijuana with dry sockets?

I had my 2 lower impacted wisdom teeth removed on Tues of last week and even though I followed every instruction to a tee I still ended up with dry socket in both areas. I refrained from smoking marijuana to avoid a dry socket but since I already have 2 would it be okay for me to start up again? Thanks in advance for any answers :)

This is a question for your oral surgeon, don't you think?

If I wanted to ask my oral surgeon I wouldn't be asking here, don't you think?
If you want an answer, we're not experts here, just folks like you.  If you're afraid to ask an actual doctor, then the easy answer is, don't smoke weed, eat it.  That won't involve any pressure on the dry socket, which is the only thing I can think of that might affect it with weed.  I'm not an expert on this, but I've had way too many teeth pulled, so I have had to get educated on this subject, and again, the only thing I can imagine would be a problem is sucking.  But I don't think in today's world an oral surgeon or any dentist would really care if you used weed -- guaranteed, they've used it, too.  I've fortunately never had this problem, though I thought I did once -- does it hurt as much as advertised?
Or, also, I should have mentioned, don't use it until it heals -- that will also avoid the problem.  As long as it hasn't healed yet, you still have it, and therefore have the same concerns you would have trying to prevent it -- you need it to heal as soon as possible so the infection doesn't spread to adjacent areas of your mouth.
